Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Solar Installer - Electrical Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians and solar installation leads, gaining hands-on experience in solar PV system installation and construction site practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of solar PV systems, including racking, modules, and electrical components.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation and construction tasks.
- Participate in residential, commercial, and/or industrial solar installation projects.
- Follow all site safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is preferred; previous experience in construction, electrical, or solar installation is an asset.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical and construction work.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn solar installation processes and take direction from experienced electricians and crew leads.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and reliable.
- Comfortable working in outdoor and construction site environments under varying weather conditions.
